16th July 2008

Took this while waiting at some traffic light.

It's dark because of my car's tinted windows.

One last bit of Penang.

Last of the lot already.

Lazy to edit the rest of the photos.

Some old shop in Balik Pulau.

It was aiming for my camera strap.

Lotus gathering yo!

Something to share...

If you are brainstorming for your next project/assignment/blog templates/designs

take a look at this*click*

My advice would be... Don't overstress yourselves. Chill. Take a walk around for more inspirations! :)

I'm so tempted...

to change the layout and the header for both blogs!

I downloaded more than 50MB of Photoshop brushes! I have more than 600MB now!

And... I found alot of nice artsy sites! Shall share them when I'm more free.

Cheong Fatt Tze Mansion, Georgetown

No interior shots of the place cause it wasn't allowed. I didn't see the point in that rule anyways. See, more than half of what belongs there isn't origanal.

Overseas, they allow cameras but they charge like a few dollars. A reasonable rate.

The tour guide was talking a whole lot of bull for one hour with her very fake accent.

So, all I got was shots of the outside compound before and after the tour. All from the D80. I should have brought the sony with me too so I could steal inside shots.

I really like the blue walls.

Look at the contrast!

I like the lens flare thing on this one...:)

Penang again...

I left 2 of Air Itam's photos out... This happens when you take too many photos!

I woke up 2 days ago, recalling some photos that I've seen before but somehow can't find it in my laptop. Not knowing, I didn't take those photos.

And... I take too many photos that I'm lazy to edit and publish them. Whenever I start Photoshop, I don't know where to start!

The morning market!

a stall! I don't know the name of the thing she makes..But it taste good!

The gastronomic affair...

I just had the yumm-iest fresh water prawns for dinner today!

The place is in Seri Kembangan.

Quote from my father, "Heaven sent food!"

Here are photos to get your stomachs growling!
Steamed... The rest of the body is fried with marmite.

yummy-licious!

okay...don't envy me!

realized that I'm blogging about food?

If the next time you see me around and think I've gained weight. You'll know why!

More of Penang!

Drove to Balik Pulau after breakfast. Had Balik Pulau Asam Laksa and Nutmeg juice at a restaurant opposite the old market. Tasted Balik Pulau's mouth-watering king of all fruits, Durians.

No pictures.

Owh wait... I took picture of the Laksa and the laksa stall!

Then, went back to the hotel to pack up and check out. While waiting for my parents to finish packing, my sis and I checked out the beach.

view from the hotel suite

another view...

*gasp* sand, sun and lovely blue skies!

Then, had lunch in Tanjung Tokong. A place that was hit by Tsunami a few years back. The first time I visited the place was like 5 or 6 years ago after Pulau Payar's trip. Food was awesome back then. But now... average only.

omg...blue skies! I love blue skies!
