Happy Belated CNY!

I was missing from the blogosphere for quite some time. Been busy with courseworks, exams and now its halfway through Semester 4 already. I abandoned the Project 52, after a few weeks.

The workload of the UK education system is suicidal, no joke. It starts off with 6 modules a semester, 12 weeks of lecture, 2 weeks of study break, 2 weeks of exams, a few days break, a new semester, another 12 weeks of lecture, 2 weeks of study break, 2 weeks of exams and 4 month long Summer break! In between the lecture and study weeks, we have to slot in the Malaysian Public Holidays.

Anyhow, the past 5 weeks of Semester 4 have been all about fun. CNY was great, all the munching obviously made me put on weight! Its hard to resist all the cookies that only appear once a year. :)

And the extra cash that we get :)

Along with the card game I love most :)

And since CNY is over, the fun stops. Last semester's results were okay, gotta work a whole lot harder this semester. There's too much to do!

Light Painting

Light painting aka light drawing or light graffiti is a technique in which involves long exposures to moving light in the dark. Light sources are usually hand-held to draw images in space and captured by the camera as moving lines/ drawings.

Exam mode

So much to read, so little time!

First paper on Monday (11th January), Plant and Cell Physiology B. Followed by 5 other modules! 6 modules to sit for isn't easy! Wished there was another dissertation module this semester. Will be done with exams on the 20th and the following semester starts on the 25th! 3 more semesters to go! Can't wait till all these is over!~

Gonna get back to studying right now, updates shall come after the 2oth!

Its that time of the year where we set new goals, resolutions and let go of the past to move forward to a better year ahead.

So, what's your new year resolution?

Forget the usual ones, go for something more challenging!

Hey all,

I just completed my Pathology poster. I never thought designing this poster would take me so many hours! The usual posters takes an average of 2 to 3 hours. This took at least 24 hours but I'm happy with the outcome. Looks really neat! :)

Till the end of the semester, I'm still left with a 1,500 words critique to write on, the poster presentation and Research Techniques in Plant Science mini-project. After that, there's the holidays to enjoy and the exams to prepare for.

Update...

I'm alive...

Courseworks are draining every bit of soul left in me. Next week is gonna be hectic! Debate on Monday, 1500 words submission on Tuesday and Mauritius Project Proposal and Presentation on Friday alongside dreadful meetings and lectures. I might not make it till the end of the week!

Shall enjoy the weekend while I can...Sunday meetings are -_-"!
